I would love to make the belly cover from the fishnet stockings but I can't find any that don't have a big ole seam running up the front and back of them. The Danskin fishnets also have the seam so how do you do this?? I'm mystified....

Najla - wow! That costume looks great on you! It was mine at one time, yes - I'm wearing it on the main page of my website, also with a black skirt! It's interesting to see it again. ..g.:

Cut the tights right above the crotch. Turn sideways. Attach (or not) to a pair of underwear. Voila! The seams are down the sides!
Someone also wrote a description of how to make the crotch. I prefer attaching the cover to the briefs I am going to wear with each costume. Having had a history of UTI's and other girlie problems when I was dancing, I go by the rule of the fewer layers down below, the better.
This did get me into garter belts and stockings, but that is a much different thread!
