what color skirt to go w/a pearlescent white bedlah?
I have this white bedlah that I love being able to pair w/any color skirt but I really like the idea of having a just out there color skirt that I could always wear w/it.
for example, the coral bedlah auraevans has up for sale, I am totally drooling over it and the idea of it w/a turquoise skirt is even better...hmmmm ,r:; but alas, can't afford it right now :( so i'm thinking of something like that, some sort of awesome contrast that it would look just fab with. or i was also thinking of just a black skirt w/some awesome white accents...what do you ladies think?
here are some pics of the white.

in the pic i draped it w/a gold necklace b/c the colors had to be white and gold for that number. another reason y i like having a plain white bedlah, i'm able to drape it with w/e color chain i might have to match the skirt :) but i really do like the idea of having j/that perfect color skirt to wear w/it most of the time...

So far I've worn mine with white, lime green, and pink. I like bright (but not dark) colors with it IF I can tie in sleeves and a headband to get a coordinated look.

Ooooh, yeah! Like an L. Rose trumpet in Turquoise Metalskin?

My lime was from Dahlal, it's Tim's Minya Glitter skirt, the color is crazy brilliant. It doesn't come with sleeves, but I begged Tim and he gave me some scraps to make my own! Tim's Akhet tops and skirts also come in some crazy brilliant colors.

Not contrasty or bright, as you are thinking of, but my first thought was sand or champagne for an overall "desert-y" feel.

I wear L.rose ametyst skirt with my pearls, and I love that color combo. I think all pinkish, violet, lilac would go with it, and also turquoise and all shades of blue

pretty!!!!
white rules, I just got a white neckelmanns from Meena today and am ecstatic. I ran outside and made two skirts..we'll see how they turn out in a couple of days..one is white on top blending to bright pink with fuschia on the bottom, sort of like an upside down stargazer, the other starts at white at the top and has a sharp contrast of deep aqua then black along the bottom. Pow.

I"m thinking a burgundy which should bring out the pearlescent in the bra and belt - give it a pinky look at times. And, also, a bright pink as suggested earlier would look great as well!

Actually white costumes are more neutral than gold or silver. The sky is the limit. I have several lovely swirl skirts that have multi colored panels in pastels, jewel-tones, various shades of the same color (my favorites are purples - eggplant to soft lilac and one that has black as every other panel with bright colors between), always a crowd-pleaser and they are great in pictures.

no but you and i could probably understand each other since our languages aren't that far apart (I speak serbian). I had a friend in high school who came from the czech republic as a foreign exchange student and we could understand each other most of the time..he taught me some things like (sorry for the spelling) 'ahoj, cao, sta ima?'. :)
