Pesky Beaded Turkish Skirt Trim!
I have one of those Sims with a skirt/belt combo; it's a bit long for me unless I wear it with ballroom heels. But those loops of little beads on the hem of the skirt constantly catch on the straps of my shoes! I spent most of a set with my ankle wrapped up in skirt recently. Is there anything I can do?

Post a picture and the collective can come up with a good way to shorten the skirt.

Once you have you shoes on wrap a 1.5-2" wide strip of fabric that matches your shoes around the buckle. The fabric would need to make 3 or 4 loops around the fabric to insure everything is covered. Use a tiny safety pin to hold the fabric in-place. In order to insure the pin doesn't also end up in the beaded loops the pin should be placed on the lower edge of the wrap or even against your skin.
If the strap is long enough there's quite a bit beyond the buckle be sure to loop that back under and tuck the tip end under the edge of the buckle. I had a problem with that when doing other forms of dance. When competing the strip of fabric saved us many times. Other groups would lose points for tripping due to the same problem.
