    Removing fabric adhesive

So literally I just finished my first full bra and belt and last night, then this morning the I had to rescue the bra from the dog who was planning to take it outside and bury it.

There's thankfully not a whole lot of damage, but I had some metallic trim that he paritally chewed off that I need to replace. I have enough leftover, but I'm having trouble getting the fabric adhesive on the remaining trim to come off without damaging the bra. Any suggestions--aside from keeping the dog away from my costumes...

Maybe place the bra in the freezer for a few minutes then use tweezers to pluck the adhesive. This option could be risky - use a tiny bit of nail polish remover on a cotton swab and dab it on the adhesive then use tweezers to pluck the bits of adhesive. I would probably cover nearby fabric and beads with plastic to avoid possibly dropping the cotton swab and causing more damage.

What kind of fabric is it?
What brand of glue did you use?

Google the name of the adhesive you used + remove, in the search engine.

If nothing comes up, all I can think of, is to VERY CAREFULLY cut through the glue, making sure not to cut into the fabric. The replaced trim should cover it.

(My little sweetie loves to carry bras, socks, etc. out in the yard too!!!)

    Thanks ladies.

I did a google search for fabri-tac removal. They recommended acetone, so nail polish remover. I dabbed it on as needed with a q-tip, and successfully got the trim off.

I'm going to run out and get some anti-fray stuff, since the fabric below is a little fragile, never mind there are a few tiny teeth marks that could use some reinforcement ..c::

Thanks again for your help! Hopefully, I will be able to wear this next Friday.
