Thread: Bella-how long does it take to receive after you pay typically?

I know bank wires can take 1-3 days after you send for the receiving bank to get the money.

But then how long does it usually take for your package to arrive?

Also, the folks at Bella seem like they either answer email in spells and then they dont answer at all.

I recently ordered three costumes, and they arrived 7 weeks from the day I ordered them. for me (maybe because it was my first order?), they gave me my quote and I sent the money two weeks after the initial order, so I had to wait several weeks from payment to completion/shipment/arrival.

when did you order the costume? maybe count out the weeks from there...

I ordered it several weeks ago, they notified me that it was done.

I wired the funds the next day, Nov 21st. Now it is Dec 9 and I am worried it is lost.

Last time I ordered & paid it arrived fairly quickly. Also, I moved to a new address before the second order. I notifed them several times to note the new address.

So, I have emailed them at least 4 times to send tracking info and they have not responded. I guess I need to call them.

ohhhhh........OK, that explains why there is no answer on the telephone. Maybe in the meantime, my package will show up, hopefully.

Aura, I was worried too. I sent my money and THEN they made the costume, I was told it was done on Nov 24th and only received it yesterday, so I'd give them a little bit more time. I sent an email yesterday morning asking if I could have a tracking number and they did respond- but not with the tracking number. they asked for my address, I'd already confirmed it with them on the 24th and it was even in the email history of the one we were corresponding with. So, they did respond to me yesterday, they may reply to you today. Cross your fingers and it'll show up!

oh- and my package looked just like an accordian! but the costume was great and beautiful and all things wonderful!

Hi Aura! I think the one I ordered in July took about 2 weeks to arrive after I sent the second half of my payment. (I paid the first half at the time of placing the order when I was in the shop, and I paid the second half once Bella emailed me to tell me it was done.)

Not only do you have to allow shipping time, you also have to allow time for it to clear customs. This time of year, I'd allow extra time for that because of the larger volume of packages for the holiday season.

Also FYI, there's a big problem with the U.S. shipping industry new caused by the economy woes. Shippers are finding once they arrive that the merchants they expected to take the goods off their hands are failing to do so because the merchants can't get short-term credit to pay for the COD charges. So packages are piling up at the ports of entry. Even though YOUR package is already paid for, it could get delayed because of this larger problem.

I wired her money on the Nov 20th and have not yet received mine either. Usually she is very quick about shipping (about 4 days for me) so this is unusual. But our new pretties will get here soon!

They tend to ship in groups. I know some went out on Dec. 5th. It also depends what location your costume was in, Belgium or Istanbul. Since they are on holiday now, I bet most everything went out right before. The day you wire money is not related to the ship date.

That is mainly what I was worried about because then it would have gotten sent all the way back to Istanbul. I checked the tracking and it just says that it left Istanbul Nov. 28, no other update. So between the holidays & the shipping/economy issues I guess it is just slow...............yes, I want to see everybody's new Bellas!

I hope mine went out with that shipment! She did email me to confirm address but it was incorrect, so I sent her the right one. Let's hope it gets here soon (like TODAY!).

Wow shimmy...Thats georgeous!!! All these new Bellas being made is making me want to custome order one :( Exchange rate is too shocking at the moment though ;(

Keep in mind too that mail and customs might be a bit backed up due to the holidays. Don't worry... it'll come!!

I am waiting for some in the mail! She said she would post them on November 28th, and I am wondering what will happen at customs. Ugh. I can not stand waiting! I've had to wait between 1 and 3 weeks for prior packages to arrive, generally.

I would love to see pictures of everybody's when they arrive! Why are they so delightful? Sheer magic!

And I had to sell this when I got home because I neglected to have Bella adjust it for me. The others fit me perfectly, thanks to her handiwork. My friend just happened to be at my house, and it just happened to fit! What a coincidence!

I only can blame it on post office delays...although I always thought delays occur in second half of the december.

Hi Malia, she is doing fine - just turned 2 years last week! big girl:) how is your baby?

I don't go out of the house in the mornings last days in order not to miss the postman - and all in vain! ,m::

no bella love for me either today in the mail......I checked the tracking and it still just says pkg left Istanbul Nov. 28, no change in the status of the tracking.
