How to carry swords?
I need to find a hard case for swords- any suggestions on where to find something that would work?

Someone suggested a rifle case once.

Re: How to carry swords?
Hi Sarah, it's not a hard case but I have a homemade long bag made out of a stiff material. It's wide enough for a curved sword or can hold multiple canes. It closes at the top with velcro and even has a CD and zills pocket and a handle.
BTW, off topic, did you get my last email?

Re: How to carry swords?
For gigs I use a leather scabbard a friend of mind made for me. For air travel (hard case/check in needed) use an old guitar case (electric bass) that my husband outfitted with foam to protect the sword (which is still in it's leather scabbard). I throw in a couple business cards so security (they always check it) know what it's for. :)
