What type of thread, string, or cord
Is best for attaching bead, stones, and fringe to a costume? How about rhinestone chain?

Re: What type of thread, string, or cord
I've been using 10lb. test fishing line, or upholstery thread.
There's a new thread that's come out that I'm trying now. It's for fabrics used outdoors (costs almost 2x's more than the upholstery thead.
Azhia recommended another type thread, but I can't find the post.

Re: What type of thread, string, or cord
I usually use upholstery thread, "Heavy" thread or button/carpet thread depending on what color I need/can find at the time.

I use heavy weight beading thread- picked up at the leather working store (don't know why it's not at the beading store...)
nice 'cause it doesn't need to be waxed & I have NEVER had it break.
