Just a sampling of the great shots from the Raq the Camera shoot I sponsored over the summer. It took forever to pick out the proofs I wanted! There were a lot that I liked, and of course my troupe and Mr. Latifa had favorites too. Look at the wonderful makeup that Azhia did!

This was a fantastic weekend!

The amazing this is that i was REALLY tired during this shoot, but you can't tell in these pix!

My personal fave is the third one, but I'm not sure why. Somehow it sums up how I feel when I do Saudi dance.

Man, now I am craving a Cassie/Azh photo shoot!!!! I love all the photos, Latifa, but that last one just speaks to me.

(Also, Latifa is an AMAZING dancer and instructor - seeing her dance in person or taking a class with her is always highly recommended!!!!)

gorgeous! cassie and azhia REALLY caught YOU in the look and pic........to me, the middle one is the one that really tells people who you are, the expression, the line and beauty........

and i'll second latifa's ability as teacher and performer.....i've only had a couple of privates(so far, more comin' :p) and they've done VOLUMES for me in subsequent performances! even non ME ones!
