Oh...you miss me!!!??? Dude, I fell off the wagon so bad, I have been left miles behind! 20 ponds to lose in 6 months. That is 24 weeks. That is
about a pound a week. I can do this! One last splurge, I learned to make a 75 in honor of Mo the Persian bartender at the 709 Club in DC. I will be there 1.2.09!!! I am on it like a fat kid on a cup cake!!! Those pounds are commin' off quicker than a prom dress!!!

I never could figure out how to interact with the group!

I'm doing Body for Life right now, and only using the Plate occasionally to check food content and track my weight/measurements.

I'll be back eventually -- but you probably won't know it, since I can't figure out how the group works!

I'll be back very soon. Maybe this week. If not, definitely by Monday. I need to get back on my program I was doing so well on. Exercising and using TDP to track my calories. You won't be lonely for long....

lauren, you just request to be a member of the group, and all you do is make comments. the green/red bars let you know if the group has made their calorie quotient for the day.

I personally keep my food profile public so anyone can see what i eat...eeeek! its embarrassing sometimes :)

Oh, ok. I did that. I guess I was just expecting more community from the group. I guess Bhuz is my only model for online communities!

Maybe I should take myself out, since I'm not logging anything. I hope it's not averaging my 0s into the group!

also, what i like about being a gold member is that it breaks down the nutrients. im more concerned about that than anything at the moment, trying to feed the baby more organics and fruits and veggies :) (trying)

nah it only calculates based on the people who are adding food for the day

that being said, i immediatly had a craving for a dip since its new years and there probably wont be anything like that i can eat tonight at our friends...so organic fat free bean dip, tofutti's better than cream cheese spread and some tostitos just hit the spot!

I did well on the Daily plate..but it seriously made me crazy. I dont know if something like that is cut out for people with eating disorders. My family suffers when I obsess about my intake of food. I've been doing excellent lately, so I probably wont be stopping by the DP anytime soon.

Ok, I'm back as of today. I was going to wait a couple more days, but what the heck. Might as well start now. The good news is that I've only gained 5 pounds. I can lose that in about a month if I stick with the program.

I had way too much champagne last night and felt like ass this morning. I still managed to get myself up and onto my elliptical trainer. I wasn't a great workout and I didn't feel as good doing it as I usually do, but I did it. Today I will eat better than I did yesterday and I will feel better tomorrow.

ohhhh I feel like ass today too. Too much fun out on the town last night. I've been thinking about getting back on TDP but that would mean logging the croutons I just ate trying to feed my hangover when there's no breakfast in my house...

I feel the same way about it. When Sahira & I joined it, I stayed on it for about 3 days before I realized I would fall back into very bad old habits if I continued to use it. The Daily Plate is definitely not good for people who have food intake obsessions.

I'll be on and off over the next week or two. I've been allowing myself little 'treats' outside my BFL plan, and I think it's getting out of hand. I need TDP to help me figure out how much I can allow myself to indulge.

Re: the daily plate...come back bhuzzers!

I had an eating disorder myself for several years in high school (bulemia).

I can see how it can be detrimental, but for me, it works. If I dont use TDP, I easily overeat. Plus I get all the good nutrition info which helps me make better choices.

    Hey Sumaya!

I have fell off the wagon miles ago too!! As of Monday when kids are back in school and the routine is back underway I will be a plate tracking fool.
My TDP name is Jackaroo. Is yours the same as you buzz name? Can't remember since I haven't been on in a while.

I need to drop 5 pounds. I thought sticking to the plan was hard for me (love to eat out of boredom) but I felt so good on it. If I could just drop this bit of weight and get back to that sweet spot I will be cool. Maintaining it is okay it's just getting there in the first place that is hard for me. I love to snack. And not healthy snacks either. I can do it.....w.:
