Patterns
Just wondering where to get patterns for skirts? I want to sew a mermaid style or a tight fitting skirt. I don't want to make chiffon full circle skirts. Any advice on where to purchase?
Thanks!

Re: Patterns
This page on my web site lists some pattern sources that I know of:
Belly Dancing Costume Patterns: Where To Get Them
You could always go to a fabric store and thumb through the mainstream pattern catalogs such as Vogue, McCall's, and Simplicity evening wear categories to see whether they've got patterns that could be adapted to belly dance use. For example, a skirt pattern could be cut lower on the hips and have elastic put in the top instead of a zipper placket.
