Does anyone have any at home fitness DVDs that they swear by?

I went to my gym's "Cardio Blast" on saturday and while I was begging for mercy by the end, I felt like I finally had a really good, effective workout. My gym is geared for those who don't work during the day so most of the group classes are while I'm at work so I miss them. I get on the treadmills or the bikes for 45mins to an hour but I feel like I'm not really working out: my body is used to those movements.

This class kicked my butt! We did jumping jacks, heel kids, jogging, dancing, marching, v steps, etc all in rapid succession so that a different body part was getting worked on and I like that style so much.

Does anyone have any at home tape of this style that I could work out along to? I don't have too much room in my living room, so step aerobics would be out, and I don't even break a sweat using the "belly fitness" dvds so I want something pretty hardcore while not needing too much equipment.

    Thanks!

I 2nd P90X! I love it very much. Fitness & flexibility through ass-kicking, muscle-confusion routines, all on DVD and with little equipment: exercise bands, chair, yoga mat (and lots and lots of water!).

Did I mention Turbo Jam? Tee hee
I also like Karen Voight's Burn & Firm. I am a DVD fitness junkie & actually just posted last week to see if anyone wanted to swap: http://www.bhuz.com/forum/fitness-be...cise-dvds.html
If you see something you'd like to try I'd swap something--a music cd, a jingly sparkly thing, a tasty yummy thing...
Also, if you have cable go to exercise tv on demand--sometimes you can sample some good cardio there. For awhile they had a star trainers series that I really liked. I do not like Shape dvds & the Firm is hit or miss. The new Billy Blanks videos are decent but he kind of freaks me out

Anyone have Turbo Jam Cardio Party 2 or 3 or Cardio Party LIVE that they want to sell? I want them all but I never buy things new and they're impossible to find at a reasonable used price on amazon & all the ebay copies have too many bidders

Third (or fourth or fifth?) this! I love Beachbody's products; I have a few sets and next week (payday!) am ordering P90X.

Some reliable names in workout DVDs are Cathe Friedrich, Karen Voight, and (for less intense days) Petra Kolber. I also love Keli Roberts's original step aerobics workout, which has never been released on DVD <grrr>.

A terrific place to look at lots of workout programs is collagevideo.com. They break down the intensity level, type of choreography, degree of impact, and stuff like that, as well as providing a time graph for each workout. You can watch clips of the different workouts, which is invaluable. They only carry decent stuff, too--none of the fluffy, worthless celebrity cash-in workouts. It's the best place I know to find workout videos/DVDs. Good luck!
