Thread: Who sells a good sports bra for DDs and up?

I am looking for a really good supportive sports bra to wear to class and practice. I know there are a lot of you ladies out there who are a DD and up so what brands do you like? I really hate to 'bounce' so help!

Triumph has an excellent model. It has a racer back, straps are velcro adjustable ( a loooong piece of it, doesn't move even through a rough basketball game), and it attaches in front with two hooks. Looks plain, the straps are a bit thicker than regular but will keep everything in place without shifting, even in the most demanding workouts. I really like it for running. Also doesn't give you the "uniboob-effect".

Without a doubt, the only sports bra that has kept my 32 DD's in check is the Moving Comfort Fiona. Hands down, it's the only sports bra I will even consider anymore.

Thanks! I'll have to check both of them out. I'm tired of spending $$$$ on sports bras that aren't any better then a regular bra. I'd like to do a 9/8 routine and there is no way the Champion sports bra I am using will work.

Berlei shock absorber is a good range, although some of them have very high cups which is not so good for under costumes. I have recently bought this one though Shock Absorber Impact Level 3 FlexiForm Underwire Sports Bra B4484 Sports Bra which has flexible memory-wire underwires to allow movement, it is lightly padded too for nipple concealment, so should be good under costumes. I prefer underwires for shape, particularly after I caught myself in profile wearing my formed, but not wired bra under my saiidi dress.
Freya are a big bra specialist that do an underwired sports bra too, I have just ordered one so I will let you know how I get on.

Oh do I know what you mean! ..l;, My dance bras are pretty supportive but during practice watch out! You can guess where my hands are esp. during jumps etc. I look like I'm giving my self a hug.

My Freya bra arrived yesterday and it is AWESOME. Good shape, absolutely solid, my heaviest shoulder shimmy couldn't get a wobble. It does have a higher neck than I would like, but I think the chances of me finding a lowish cut sports bra are pretty slim (apart from the shock absorber one I already have that is ;))

This is the most supportive bra I've ever tried: Bali Flower Bali Bra 180 - Bali Bras

They are widely available, and the fabric they are made of does not let you bounce at all. I used to wear them when I did eliptical workouts, under a regular sports bra.

I just chose that shop as an example to show which design I meant, I got mine from ebay. If you google "Freya Sports Bra" you should be able to find a US supplier.
