Thread: Facebook Group for that makeup chick

Unfortunately the only way to rename a Facebook group is to create a new one and delete the old one. Talk about re-reinventing the wheel.

I wanted to broaden the scope of the group so I am deleting 'Makeup by Azhia' and created 'beauty by CHRISTINE MILLAN.' If you have a Facebook account, I'd be honored to see you there!

I'll be posting Shimmy Shoot and Raq the Camera dates, as well as updates on Azhia Dance and Chat Chat brand accessories.

Dare I move a 2nd time? I dunno...

It is pretty easy to transfer to a Fan Page. Facebook support will do it for you.

I don't have to create a new one, tell people to join that one and then slowly kill off members and then eventually take myself out of the old group? That was such an impractical pain in the butt...

Crap, they changed it. I did it last year...

"We're no longer able to convert Facebook Groups into Pages. You're welcome to create a Page and notify your Group members that you'll be using the Page instead of the Group going forward. If your Group has too many members to send them a message, we unfortunately aren't able to provide you with any other solutions for how you might contact them about this change."

Are you guys getting much out of Azhia's makeup group? I don't currently use Facebook but I'll sign up if this is good stuff.
