Thread: Help me choose my 8x10's!

When I went to New York City in November, I arranged to have a photo session with Lina Jang because I really liked her work. (Her web site is Veiled Visions ). I got my CD of proofs today, and was really excited by them.

The package I bought allows me to have 3 blown up to 8x10. Help me choose which ones to use!

I like the very top and the very bottom pics in the first post, and posts 3, 5 and 8. Post 8, above, would make an incredibly lovely business card!

In addition to your favourite, which is beautiful, I say the very last one in your first post and the "cat that got the cream" one.

OK, I am going to give more specific feedback on each. I'm following the post numbering.

1a) Obviously, this is the pick of the bunch.
1b) This is fine, but you have many photos that look a bit like this.
1c) Quite nice, but not as flattering on your figure as some of the others
1d) Yum.
2) Although the movement in this is nice, I don't think the photo does justice to your jawline and the placement of your foot looks a little more awkward than it should - the foot sort of jumps out.
3) On one level I like this because it is a costume update of another pic of yours, but - you have this pic already!
4) Sexy and sassy! I think you look a bit like Shareen el Safy here.
5) This is nice - not special but a pleasant photo.

7) Not this one. It is not flattering - the shadows emphasise the hollows and pouches of your face and it is generally awkward-looking.
8) This one is also nice and would make a lovely business card, as noted above.

I like the action shots with the veil, and expecially like your facial expressions in all. You're really gonna love what they do after the photo shop too, it's amazing what I saw on my friend's before/after the other day.
