    spot fringe placement?

I'm hoping someone has done this and can give me some tips. I have a Pharonics with clumps of spot fringe -- clusters of three strands of beads each, placed in two rows along the length of the belt. The belt does not have enough oomph and I am making extra tassels to add. The existing tassels are placed one tassel-width away from each other so they never overlap and tangle, I assume. Is there a trick or formula to this, or am I stuck keeping the same spacing with the new fringe? It looks awfully sparse.

Sorry, light is too bad here to take pics of my costume, but it's the kind of fringe done here:

You'll notice that those tassels are placed so that when they swing, they don't touch...tassels that are next to each other are one tassel-length apart, and the second row is placed approximately a tassel-length vertically down the belt. I'm wondering if I need to keep those dimensions for placement, or if I can put them closer together and not risk tangling...does that make sense?

I've put spot fringe a lot closer than that with no dramas re tangling etc. If you want to fill it out go for it! :)

    Ex-cellent.

Did yours have strands of all one length, or multiple lengths within a cluster?

I have all strands the same length. I don't suppose it would make a huge amount of difference though. Do one with multiple lengths and see what it looks like, then go from there :)
