..l;,..l;,..l;,..l;, It's nesting instinct on overload. We're saving up for future business ,r:; I officially have four costumes I've never worn and one on the way. It's terrible.
Hi, I'm Malia and I fell off the bandwagon even though I started this thread.
Your little one will also love the cossies. Ally thinks they're so beautiful and she cant' stop playing with my veils. Besides, after the first elmo doll you'll never want another! They are *so* annoying.

You know, I'm nickle and diming myself. A skirt here, another skirt there. I've sold a costume, and traded two others, but I still seem to keep buying stuff. Still addicted.

Ozma! Anala! Brilliant!!!
I can see it now ... an empire of sparkly, homegrown sweatshops!
The coppers will never catch on!
If only I had started making babies years ago!!! ... I think at this point, I might be able to get out 5 before my days are done... or... there's always the artificial route... 8 babies all at once!!!

Re: Costume Addicts Anonymous
My mother is craft impaired, although she can now knit basic items. For years she specialized in knitting cat toys because "You shove some catnip in there, stitch it up....and the cat never asks 'what's that supposed to be?'" Once a Japanese grandma looked at both of us crafting at an airport (me making small zombie monkeys with mutiliple needles at a time...my mother struggling with a square-like shape) and asked me
"Is that your mom?"
"Yes."
"She...she didn't teach you to knit...did she?"
"Nope."
My mother is fond at looking at my bead work and saying "Somewhere, some family of sweatshop workers has my real daughter."

I fell off the bandwagon HARD and ordered a costume from Eshta. ..g.:
Frankly, I'm not all that upset about it and don't do an intervention until after I buy some accessories to go with the black and silver set I'm making.

Re: Costume Addicts Anonymous
Hi,
My name isn't really khalima, and I'm a costume addict. My daughter has started belly dancing and her first performance is coming up. I am looking for a specific type of costume for her (gold Turkish to use for a troupe). But I keep finding costumes in my size instead! I bought skirts in her favorite color on bhuz, and they ended up in my closet!
I'm trying to decide if I should just order a set for her from Topkapi for $250, or keep shopping for her since I know with patience I can get one used for $100 or less. The active shopping is getting to be expensive, since I keep finding things for myself! It's just too bad we are not the same size.
