daily practice DVD recs?
I need to expand my video library for my daily practice. Currently, I am working with Aziza's Practice Companion and both of Rachel Brice's practice videos. I have the Suhaila Fitness Fusion set but they're not really my thing; neither is Rania. Something that I can do in short increments as an addition to my daily practice would be ideal. What else can you recommend?

What style are you aiming at and how do you rate yourself, or rather how do you manage with these dvds

Michelle Joyce, Drills Drills Drills.
If I feel like *dancing* rather than practicing, Luscious tends to be my first choice.

Re: daily practice DVD recs?
If you want short increments, Sadie's dvd's 'Thrillin' Drillin'" and "Pops, Locks and Shimmies" are very good, but extremely challenging. (thats why I would recommend doing one drillset at a time!)
If you don't want to pay IAMED prices there are lots of alternatives, I also second Michelle Joyce, "Drills Drills Drills" and "Luscious" for a practise flow, and Neon's "Rhythms" is great as it is a drum solo flow.
The other one I would recommend if you are into tribal is Asharah's Modern Bellydance, it's very comprehensive.

Ariellahs Contemporary Yoga conditioning one is good, as is Sharon Kiharas. Yes they are tribal fusion but A's has some great drills on there. I second Michelles Drills dvd as well.

Drills, Drills, Drills! Also Michelle Joyce's Pop, Lock and Shimmy. If you just want a workout, I'd say probably more of Rania's newer stuff, but you said you didn't care for her.

Re: daily practice DVD recs?
I'll second Michelle Joyce's Drills Drills Drills. Also, there's a nice warm-up/body conditioning segment on Asharah's DVD. I haven't tried the technique portion since it's not my style but enjoy the conditioning section on days when I just feel like following along.

Hi! I produced mine with the intention of providing a short, but thorough and challenging warm up/drill section that you can do (and adjust to your skill level); either in conjunction with daily practice or by itself.
Preparation, Drills, & Cool Down.

Thank you, everyone, for the ideas -- please keep them coming!
As for myself, I have been dancing since 1985, and teach and perform an Egyptian-inspired style. I don't limit myself to a single style when I work out since I think there is merit to expanding my knowledge base as widely as I can. The vids I use are well within my abilities -- I like to use them as a starting point for a longer workout, or daily exercise when I don't have time to do my own thing. :)
