Alright, for some unknown reason I could not access my other thread once I posted the body pic, so I figure I'll start a new one:) Here it is on me, short torso and all! It is pulled down as low as it can go. Please excuse the extra boobage-I'm still nursing so they are a little larger these days!

I think it's gorgeous on you and you should keep it. What I might do if I was you, would be to shorten the piece of gold fringe hanging from the center of the bra. That will give an illusion of a little more length on the torso. I'm not short in the torso, but just plain short all over and I don't like fringe any longer than 4" on my bras. Anything longer makes me look even shorter.

I think it looks fine on you. But, if it bothers you, it looks like you could tack the strap down on the top edge of the belt itself. From the picture, it looks like it is shaped in a way that would be possible.

that's a really good suggestion....seeing it on, yah.....hold onto it for a while....when you DO decide to let it go, there's NO shortage of interested parties....mylself included ;p, but hold onto it! it looks awesome on you!

I think actually the waist strap elongates you in a good way. It's almost like the skin under the strap is saying "But wait, there's still more!" ;-)

Thank you everyone for your encouraging responses. Sometimes we can be our own worst critic. I think the suggestion of shortening the fringe on the bra is a great idea and one I will try. But I'm afraid tacking the waist strap down is beyond my capabilities. I'll just roll with it! It is a beautiful costume, and I am happy to have everyones support that it looks ok. Thanks again!

k, i've got a serious case of costume envy. i'm a big fan of that shade of green, especially on us fair-skinned girls. i think the waist strap is really cool, maybe i missed the first post, but i don't think you need to do anything other than shortening the center bra fringe just because it would be obnoxious if it got caught in your belt. i've got a short torso also so i can understand your frustration, but honestly from that pic i would have never known you had a short one. the costume looks fantastic on you!!!

Anyway, what a great idea!!! That way when I do decide to sell, it can be un-tacked if desired and still have its original length. Genius!
