Keep me motivated!!!!
I have been on a lifestyle change journey as far as eating healthier and working out. Though I by no means am tipping the scales currently at 115 lbs, I really want to trim and tone-especially after having a baby (who will be 1 on Saturday!!!!). I just find my extra fluff is not making me happy. The problem is that I am getting frustrated and losing my motivation. I would love to hear personal success stories from anyone that has set a goal and achieved it in the fitness department. Also any tips or healthy (vegetarian)recipes would be super cool!

Re: Keep me motivated!!!!
fat! I don't really have any extra skin. What I need to do is not necessarily lose weight, just tone up and replace it with muscle (I'm 5'3" and a FLUFFY 115 lbs). But I've never really worked out before in my whole life until recently. I wish I could be like you and look stunning, even after having 3 kids!!!!

I should say too that I carry my weight in my abdominal region and when I lost weight...it still stayed there and that is sooooo frustrating!!!

Re: Keep me motivated!!!!
Thank you! I used to work at a gym/pool. I started dancing 5 years ago and it really works. It is great carido and a muscle toning form of exercise. if you tighted the muscles in the abs while you do the movements it really works. you can do sit up but this works the same. watching what you eat; or just do more cardio so you don't have to watch what you eat!..l;, . i love some jiggle on dancers.
but i understand wanting to tone.

Re: Keep me motivated!!!!
One thing that I really can't suggest enough of is "Group Power"
I don't know if that is a national thing or just something that they have at my gym, but basically it is a weightlifting class set to music. I never have the motivatin to go and pick up some barbells and pump, but this is mostly girls, and hardly anyone is lifting more than 20-25 pounds, so i don't feel so weak.
It's fun. Hard. But fun. And i only do once a week and I can see results!
