Dangit, I was just at the store picking up some supplies the other day. I CAN'T go back for THIS, though I'm dying to try it...

New Favorite Foundation?

Azh, this is one of the products I'll be posting about soon. I've been trying it recently and OH MY GOD!

And I'm not a foundation girl... but if it blocks UV AND is a lotion.... mmm

Is it in stores yet? I so- want to try this! I can't use thier other foundations though they make me breakout...

Ooh, that's good to know about. MAC just retired my regular foundation, grr, but hopefully it's being replaced by something even better...

oooooooooooooooh.. i wonder if i can "Accidentally" run out of what i have this weekend so i can justify buying a new foundation..

Anybody I know who has ever tried MAC foundation swears by it. So far I have avoided it, mostly because I break out from anything not oil-free and some that are oil-free so I get really cautious. But then again, I am a dyed-in-the-wool fan of MAC anything.

i just bought the mineral mac liquid stuff. hell i dont even know the name but do like it. and i dont use a primer

AH! I finally got AWAY from liquid foundations! I love my mineral make-up! I only use liquid for performances (and I adore my Smashbox foundation) But now, I simply must try this!

Oy vey, bad news for my credit card ... I see a trip to the mall in my schedule tomorrow. I had been unhappy with MAC b/c they discontinued the dark blue Liquidlast eyeliner, but this is good reason to get over my grudge.

THink of it as stimulating local economy, and it feels right.

I got it, and it looks amazing. I can definitely tell that it won't budge during performances. I saw a review for the concealer, and I was basically said to myself that I need to go back to get that. I have to say, it will replace my MUFE Mat Velvet foundation. It suit me that much better.

Hehe, my own economic stimulus contribution, I like that idea. "Honey, all I do is support Obama." ;-)

The new MAC foundation is like primer and foundation in one. It is made of WIN.

And the new concealer similarly kicks ass. I'm just sayin'.

I'm hoping they make a shade for us GREEN gals. Makeda, how is the range?

I'm not Makeda, but I thought they had a pretty good range of colors. I think they'd have foundation or concealer in your skin tone.

I'm wondering for the kit (AND myself ). I need a range that can accommodate complexions like Alek Wek and [insert red-toned transparent person here].

I definitely think it will. Here's a review from a woman of color who's pretty dark-skinned and it's perfect.

I wonder how it photographs with a flash though because of the sunscreen? I actually like to use a separate sunscreen, then you can leave it off for the stage.

Yes! And you don't need a lot to get good coverage.

What Daniela said. The concealer is creamy and you only need a bit. It's great on dark undereye circles.
