The for the yellow dress- I simply don't know what to say.
The first whole page right now would actually be REALLY cool for someone who likes to do beadwork but doesn't want to make the base.

HEY! Who bought the OMG AMAZING purple Eman Zaki "window pane" saidi dress??? THAT one was TO DIE FOR! They've got a pink one still- but the belt hasn't been unpacked so no picture yet.

I love those basic costumes with no beading/designs. Too bad I hate beading. ;P

It looks like a face - the fringe in the middle is like some kind of droopy tongue. Usually I really like yellow costumes but I can definitely pass on this one.

On the other hand - I'm really drawn to this one. The colours are bright but I really like it.

Have the perfect bedlah set for it-I cant justify paying $600 for the costume though as the bra is too big-anyone like the costume and can let me buy the skirt LOL!!! No seriously...anyone????

Oh god, I can't take this anymore. This looks a lot like the costume I had my eyes on at the nile group in november. It was soooo nice in person. I think just a few details are different. I would like one without the hanging down fabric from the bra and with ordinary over the shoulder straps instead of that halter. I looovve the color and the beading.

I tend to wear more subdued colours during the day at work. However for dancing - the brighter, the better!

I'm lusting after that orange/red dress but I really cannot justify buying it. I'm a hobbyist and I just bought a red dress last month. (It looks so much better in person).

Before belly dance my entire wardrobe was about 85% black and 15% grey, burgundy and aubergine.... I started out that way with costuming, too...but now I LOVE color! Just like you, the brighter the better.
That orange and red is nice. Hanan has been making lovely dresses with that chiffon drape. Very flattering!

I have pretty much the same wardrobe colours as you except I also wear a lot of white tops/shirts. I love Hanan's designs - I have a blue one that I've received so many compliments on. Her costumes are also affordable.

Now I'm finished all changes of the "Mamdouh-costume" I bought. I told, I was so unhappy...Now I made a completely new Bra, changed the waistband, made gloves and cristal-fringe and put a lot of bigger Svaovski-Glue-Cristals of the costume.

Because of this thread I just bought my first ever official costume from bellydancestore!!

It's a hot pink bra/belt set with a skirt.

I am drooling over the stock at that store! So many gorgeous things!!!

OMG! Sahar makes bra and belts!!! Running around frantically!!
The belts are lightweight, stretchy and flexible. The bra is classic Sahar. I've never seen these before!! WOW!
