Wow! All I can say is WOW! New stuff popping up constantly. Shahrzad just got back from Egypt. Love the new designers Mumtaz and Mam Dooh!

oh and i love the mumtaz designs. doesn't mumtaz mean 'excellent' in arabic? they really are all excellent costumes

The bellydancestore.com main model is named Kitty. She's a total sweetie and so cute it should be illegal...she has yet to even take a belly dance class!

The shoes should come with it! There's not much else you could wear them with -lol!

It's certainly a costume for someone who wants to make a statement. Luckily it's not the kind of statement I want to make.

That is one HIDEOUS wig, but she is very cute. Doesn't do much to give us an idea of what D-cups look like. I think she needs two models...one for the full-figured ladies.

These are great! I really like the green mermaid one. I doubt I could pull off the hot pants costume! Still, I do a fusion piece to You Shook Me All Night Long and that would be a good costume for it!..g.:

I kind of love the pants one. It's so over-the-top that it makes me happy.

hehe. that pants one is kinda neat. i'd never wear it i think, but it's really creative and pretty cool in it's own way ^^

I think going to the garment district in NYC (or LA for the West Coast dancers) would yield the best results. I have looked through pages and pages of sites like SpandexHouse.com and while they do have some great, great stuff, I keep wanting more! I did get some fun fabric (my Crazy Candy costume) made in Israel at Dancer in Clinton, MD a few years ago, but their selection is understandably limited.

Wow some pretty stuff! But over and over I get annoyed by Raqia's poor design skills. What's going on with her costumes? This looks like an Eman copy??? or is it just an old traditional design??? Or did she hire someone who used to do beadwork for Eman?
Actually love that shorts-costume. Could never pull it off though. Would need to loose 2/3 of me first.

I'm loving that orange one. I like that purple mesh dress with the mini looking hip wrap. I'd definately wear little shorts under it though.
