    Pharonix Arabesque Skirts

How long does one of these take when ordered-or does Dahlal or a Audrena carry these "in-stock".

Anyone have a prefered dealer when ordering them????

Any advice would be great. Thanks!

i recently ordered 2 costumes from dahlal and they were done in less than 2 months...

when i've ordered skirts from audrena i've either not gotten them or they've taken over 8 months, when i grilled her on this she said "it can sometimes be so hard to get single items from pharaonics"

bellydancestore.com carries Pharaonix as well. They're waiting for boxes to come in any day...and from what I understand they ordered a bunch of skirts in addition to costumes.

    Re: Pharonix Arabesque Skirts

Last time I custom ordered an Arabesque skirt from Dahlal, I ordered it in November, and they had it to ship to me in January. I was very pleased with this, as a previous custom order from them had taken 6+ months. I was also very pleased that I ordered a long length (39"), and it arrived at the length I had specified.

Problem is, I told them I have a 33" upper hip, but the elastic in the skirt was 31" unstretched. It stretched to 48", and when I put it on it just fell right off my hips. So I had to pin it to some tight-fitting dance briefs and to my belt to keep it from falling down. I probably could have cut into the elastic casing and snugged up the elastic a bit, but chiffon is so fragile, I wasn't sure how I could have done that without risking snagging the chiffon or compromising its structural integrity.
