1/2 circle wrap skirt
About half way down here, there is a 1/2 circle wrap skirt, which I though might look very pretty and draped, without being full. Maybe something underneath as well as it would be open up the front. I've never seen this skirt, does anyone have a picture of one?

Love that skirt! Susanna, is it a stretchy fabric? What kind of fabric is it, if you don't mind my asking?

Re: 1/2 circle wrap skirt
oh no...that fabric is the cheapest, worst fabric imaginable. It is the stuff that's used for covering buttons.

That costume was such a rush that I didn't have time to go fabric shopping.
Are you looking to use a satin? I am not sure how a stretch would fall in that pattern. I would imagine well enough as long as you don't have as much trim on as I do.

Re: 1/2 circle wrap skirt
Actually, I was thinking lycra, preferably the nice n' thick kind. I'm thinking that this type of pattern would mesh well with a stretchy/fluid fabric. That being said, I got my mitts on some really gorgeous teal satin with matching lace... It's like Fisher-Price: "Oh the possibilities..." *g*
Thanks for the prompt response!
