Re: weight watchers vs daily plate?
I have done both WW and TDP. I like TDP better. I have done WW by going to meetings and online. I didn't think the online version was any better than TDP. I think it really depends on how self motivated you are. If you need a little push, then WW meetings are best. It gives you someone to be accountable to. If you can do it on your own by tracking your input (calories or points) TDP is best because it's free.

I agree with Shahla. If you're just looking for online support, TDP is better because their database has more food and it is more versatile. I upgraded membership packages on TDP and I recommend that. Essentially they do the same thing: help you keep track of your food intake. But WW meetings are great, so if you are motivated to do that, then it will be worth it.

Re: weight watchers vs daily plate?
I recommend WW if, like me, you sometimes need some external accountability to push yourself forward--such as weekly weigh-ins and groups meetings to share progress, or lack of it, eating tips, recipes, etc. For several years, I could tell anyone what i needed to do to be heatlhy--eat less, move more, choose healthy foods, but for me knowledge wasn't enough--I needed the extended support of WW. Also, I tend to work harder in classes versus practicing on my own--again, there's something about that group energy that I find more motivating. So choosing between these two plans really comes down to what motivates you, and how you feel most comfortable learning.

Re: weight watchers vs daily plate?
well ive signed up for both WW online and daily plate in the past and never managed to really do it for more then a week. my attention span just seems to shift to other things! the meetings would probably help me but my schedule is insane and constantly changing so arranging a meeting time is difficult.
i think ill try daily plate again
