Can you use Febreze on silk veils?
Without ruining them?

I'd just wash it. A quick rinse with warm water, a bit of mild soap (or hair shampoo), hang to dry over a clean white towel (which may get a few stains from leftover dye), et voila.

Re: Can you use Febreze on silk veils?
Febreze is alcohol based and will dry out the silk fiber. Used on a regular basis, I am sure your veils would lose their lovely shine and pliability. (you really shouldn't use anything on your veils that you wouldn't use on your hair... if you wanted it to stay healthy)
Whatever scent is in there too will coat and accumulate on the silk and make it more prone to gathering dirt... and new smells, such as smoke. If you're dancing somewhere which still allows smoking in public places, this is something to think about. This applies to products like fabric softener sheets as well.

*sigh*
So if you're dancing in a VERY smoky place regularly, you have to wash it every time? That seems like it would fade the colors really fast.

Have you tried just airing them out? I've danced in super smelley hookah bars, and I just leave my veils spread out for a few days, and they loose the smell. Perhaps hang them out in the sun?

Maybe hang them in the bathroom (to get 'em moist a bit while there's steam from the shower), and then hang in a non-sunny place to air it out? In the sun, I would be concerned about UV damage. Or, if you're so inclined, burning incense may help, I read that as a recommendation on antique textiles a long time ago.
Acid dyes (which is what I believe Jes uses) should be very color-fast - I wash my wrap tops after every wear with the hypothesis that a quick rinse in lukewarm water vs. the damage to the fibers from sweat is a desirable tradeoff.

Re: Can you use Febreze on silk veils?
Fairy Cove Silks uses high quality procion dyes and they will not fade with washing. There will be very minimal color discharge with washing. Any discharge will not change your silk.
So the quality of your veil should never change. If you have this issue, then be sure to buy different veils, dyeing quality should always be permanent.
Also, Lesgemini --- if you are not having difficulty with spritzing veils over a long period of time, then your experience could do a lot to prove that maybe Silk in general can take such handling/treatments.
I find silk to be a strong and durable product that is easy care. Simple hand washing (shampoo or dishsoaps), air drying and pressing will keep them beautiful!
