Eye Kandy and video/photo's
I've become obsessed with eye kandy lately, and while it looks great at restaurant and night club performances, who has used it for video shoots or photo shoots?
Does it come across as glittery and pretty as it does in person?

Hey gorgeous,
Videos, very nice. Photos, not so effective. The brilliance comes about from light and movement. Since photography is a still art form, glitter comes across as flecks of light and does not translate as well. It can still be used, but be aware that the effect will not be the same.

Hey Aradia,
I have used gold eye kandy on my lids for both BDFD shoots I did, and while I haven't seen the latest one we shot last week, the first one I did came across somewhat glittery on the film. I think they key is the right lighting. The lighting Michelle used made every single reflective surface twinkle, but that same twinkle is lost under poorer lighting conditions.

I think it may also depend on the color used. I've had it come across beautifully in photos at events where I'm wearing it, but it depends on the camera and the lighting.

Also looking around Oz. Unfortunately everything looks to be on the east coast - us West Aussies may as well get it from overseas!

Re: Eye Kandy and video/photo's
The red glitter on lips does look really nice in photos, from what I've seen. I wouldn't wear it on my eyes or body for a photo shoot, though. Now that hardly anybody shoots with film anymore, it's less likely that the glitter will be mistaken for dust spots on a negative, but it still doesn't always translate well.
