Thread: Angelo Luzio belly dance shoes??

was looking to order the Roman Sandals from Angelo Luzio and came across a pair of shoes meant for bellydance - they're on page 11 of the catalogue. Has anyone tried these? How'd you like them?

They look similar to the ones I use for performing (when bare feet aren't pracical or desirable), except the ones I use don't have split soles.

I love the idea of the split sole. I have split sole jazz shoes that I use for class, and I think they work really well.

I have a pair of Angelo Luzio's belly dance slippers. I love them!

They come with or without a small heel. I have the ones without a heel and they're the most comfortable things in the world. They are basically a ballet slipper but the toe isn't round, it's more pointy, looks a bit more feminine, not like you're just wearing ballet slippers.

They come in a soft black leather (the ones I have) and they also come in gold and silver. The metallic leather is a bit stiffer though than the leather that is used in the black.

Like everything, it's always best to try before you buy though.
