where to find chain???
so I want to make a coin belt..and some jewelry...I went to our local hardware stores. and I didnt really like any of the chain they had there...
does anyone have a good source to buy chain online? any tips?

I understand you tried local hardware stores but did you try Loew's or Home Depot? They have different sizes of chain sold by the yard.

You also might check out Hobby Lobby, if you've got one around - they have a sale on right now, pretty much all their metal jewelry fixings (except the sterling silver) is on sale. I bought ten feet of chain last night for $3.

Have you checked Michael's? They generally has a pretty good selection of chain and jewelry making supplies.
