    Have you tried Olay ProX?

I bought the starter kit almost two months ago and I love it. At first I was sceptical about spending so much for the kit, but it had a handsome coupon included with it and I later downloaded a coupon for an additional $25 off any other ProX products.

Kit included a night cream for deep wrinkles, day lotion with sunscreen, and eye cream. I have used it daily for abouit 6 weeks. The adverts say results in 28 days. Okay, I saw a difference in skin tone is less than a week. By two weeks I had compliments from co-workers on lookng "nice". Now after 6 weeks I have had questions asking what I am doing for my skin.

Wow, that's encouraging, maybe I'll try it. Where can you download coupons?

Is it expensive? I hear about ProActiv all the time and it's not real expensive but not inexpensive either. With this economy, I am watching my dollars.

I bought the starter kit about 4 weeks ago and, honestly, I can't say I see any difference yet.

,m:: <<hijacks thread>> Where???? My dermo prescribed Renova and the least expensive I could find was $160 a tube (3 month supply)...(pauses for research)...o.k., Retin A is for acne (with "anti-aging" side effects) and can irritate and dry skin out, Renova is for "mature skin" and has a more emollient/moisturizing base...that's worth $120??? What a rip!!! (And I'm resenting the implication that I have "mature skin"...feh!)

Anybody got any ideas about how to tone down Retin A's drying/irritating factors?

I sure do!!! Take a pea size amount and mix with an equal amount of thick pink vaseline like goo that Mary Kay sells in a white tube. It will turn you into lizard woman for the first 2 weeks..but that is a good thing. Combine with spf 50 sunblock for the face.

I second Anala's advice here, but warning, be very very careful about getting your eyebrows waxed when using Retin A!!!!

Retin A "thins the skin" I guess, but I had one professional waxer rip the hide off my face above and below my eyebrows, turns out there was a little clause about derm. treatments that may cause this to happen, just be careful, it's okay if you have been using Retin A for awhile I think, usually I wax my own so to avoid a big scaby eye area.

    Back to OLAY ProX!

I love it! I read MORE magazine, which markets itself to the over 40 crowd, and it recommended ProX's Eye cream. I needed some, so I tried it. Yes, it's pricey (around $40!!!) but 5 days after I started using it I had coworkers telling me how good my makeup looked! So fresh, so smooth. And some folk told me how 'rested' I was looking.

I'm sold. I just bought the day cream.

I buy at Walgreens; the clerks at the counter keep a supply of coupons. Just ask!

So do you think the ProX helps with "sagging" skin? I don't have too many wrinkles(oily here) but the sagginess is bothering me

    To Kahaz and Souzan:

What products were you using before the Olay prox?

I am using Olay regenerist micro sculpting cream right now. I am wondering if this other stuff is worth so much more.

Re: Have you tried Olay ProX?

I used the regenerist micro sculpting as a day cream and was using some left over No 7 nightcream. I think when the day lotion with my starter kits gives out I will go back to the regenerist sculting cream for day. But I do like the eye cream and nightcream from ProX.

Yes, I think it improve skin tone (lifting). Pores minimized and skin color more evened out. There are some other products in the line I haven't tried yet. Loved this so much that I bought my sister a starter kit for her 50th birthday!

I went to Walgreens today and was at least going to purchase the ProX eye cream to try it, so far I have been using Obagi night eye cream which is great but outrageously expensive. But the cosmetic counter was gone! They are remodeling the store and have completely removed it from this store. So no score today....., but how did you get your coupon?

Re: Have you tried Olay ProX?

So many questions......so few answers, but I'll try!

I was using the Olay eye pods. I don't think they did anything for me. The Pro X eye stuff contains caffeine which tightens things up. I just turned 50-I've got crows feet which I can live with (I AM 50!) but recently I've developed undereye bags/sags and dark circles. This stuff tightens up the skin and banishes the dark and sags.

I go ta coupon for the first purchase by doing nothing-no, really, when I was looking at it the lady at the counter came over to tell me that she had a coupon for me to use. The nxt time I asked.
