Thread: New photos...whatcha think?

My hubby & I had a "spring equinox" photo shoot this weekend in my new purple paganini. whatcha think? Your fave? Note...the "wall" shot is a "tongue in cheek" shot....but I thought it was cute...definitely my personality :-)

I like them accept for the one with the wall. I think it kind of looks like you're trying to jump over it, kind of like a police training drill.

I'm also not sure that the one where your back is to the camera is super flattering, I think that's a hard pose to pull off.

But I think the rest are really gorgeous. I really like the one where you're kneeling and looking up, so the third one.

Images Sonja2 and Sonja3 are great. I love those. If you could somehow get the grass fixed up on Sonja2, by either making it greener or bluring it or even replacing the background, I think it would be even hotter. Ask Jeremy. He was doing some free retoucing. ;) You are very photogenic.

Yeah, the wall does look like I'm escaping ..l;,..l;, but, it was meant to be tongue in cheek & does represent my personality well.

Hubby lamented the brown grass, as well. Before using as a business card photo, anything I do will most likely have either background blur or I'll cut myself out of the background. I got some really good ones that aren't on here...but the house was my background.....l;,..l;, not really what I want on a business card.

i actually don't mind the legs on #3. although i might make the skirt more opaque so that leg isn't visible, the other leg is fine to me.. i think the position is cute!

I like #3 too. Funny I didn't notice anything wrong with the legs, but I did notice that part of the skirt was cut off and thought it would have been nice if the whole piece of skirt was in the photo. I assumed you were going to change the background. You are very photogenic, I like them all, except the "booty" one not as much, though it's not awful or anything. The wall one is funny.

#1 is cute, but you look like you are trying to escape; and be coy about it at the same time. #3 is very dramatic! You could just remove the background entirely.
Oh, and I like the last one with the tree. That show a lot of personality.

Ohhhh, #3 is great, white out the background and it will look amazing. You are super cute and look like a fun person!

I think the pose in #5 would look better if it was shot more from the side. The expression on your face is super cute, but IMO there's too much focus on the butt in that one.

I like 2, 3 & 4 quite a bit - as the others have stated, you're very photogenic!

You are stunning! I like #3 best also - you can almost feel your passion jumping off the screen! The camelback riding one is so fun! Love it!

I actually REALLY like the wall picture... with the proper flyer text and a close up face shot somewhere else on the flyer it could be a great shot for promotion.

#3, you can always photoshop more skirt into the pic and change the grass color if you're objecting to leg or brown grass...*evil grin* Depending on what purpose you'd be using it for - I'd be weary of the "angst" going on in the picture. Alongside the other pictures it works fine, but if it was freestanding and I saw it - I probably would have been wondering who broke up with you, if you know what I mean. GREAT emotional projection though. I can feel your pain and passion all the way over here in San Diego :)

I think for generic purposes like business cards - I would prefer sonja 5.

The other pictures are very nice as well - and I see what you were going for - but I dont think you were able to capture it to the fullest intent... I have this issue with sooo many of my studio/shoot pictures too.

Just being totally honest because you got a great look - no reason to portray it anything less than what it is, no? :)

thanks y'all! Once I get some photoshopping done I'll pop my finals up here... The ones I think I'll use for business cards I haven't posted here yet cause of the ugly dug up flower bed in the background ;-).... That is unless we do another shoot soon... Spring is so gorgeous here and I AM an outdoors girl!!

I like them all- they're cute and they show off your personality. I love your smile in #5, so even if you don't want to give them the full benefit of your bottom, you can always crop it & 'shop it into a really dazzling headshot.

#3 was my immediate favorite as well. Dang, i wish I was half as photogenic as you are!

These are so cute! Your personality really comes out. I love the last one you posted, in front of the spring blossoms.

Now, do tell, is that a hairpiece? If so, I want me one!!! It looks fantastic.

I'll never tell....

the photographer in me prefers the very last one w/ the pretty tree as the background and not the grass...however I like all of the poses in the first set.... and the texture of the wall

remember the background is just as important as the subject....
:)

My fave is shot #2- But you look pretty in every single shot

i love the last one with the arm up and the smile.
