Thread: maybelline stilleto mascara

I saw it advertised on TV. I was wondering if anyone used it yet any feedback.
Rite aid has a coupon so i wanted feedback before I make the purchase. Thanks

Hey Alrana! I have it, and it's ok. I see the black patent finish, but most users don't. It does make my lashes longer, but not thicker. It does smell, but all Maybelline mascaras do. I love the Maybelline Colossal much more - thicker and longer lashes. I wouldn't buy it again but I'll use it up - does that help?

I have it. I love it. It might be my new go-to mascara.

That being said, i never smelled it. (do people smell their mascara?)

I do. If it's nasty I won't put it (the tar) near my eyes.

I saw an ad in a mag and decided I want to try it out. I still haven't found my perfect mascara. I use a mixture of 2 right now. One that plumps and one that lengthens. I did like stiletto because it did not clump at all, and it built nice long lashes. But I am a sucker for fat lashes, so I may mix this one with a plumping mascara.

I saw an ad in a mag and decided I want to try it out. I still haven't found my perfect mascara. I use a mixture of 2 right now. One that plumps and one that lengthens. That's about my review as well. Stiletto does give me more length than I've seen from any other mascara, but not that much extra thickness. I've been using it for maybe a week, perhaps I'll like it more the more I use it. I'd say it's worth trying, it might be the right thing for your particular eyes.

I didn't notice any particular smell, but I've been using Maybelline mascaras for years, so maybe I wouldn't notice ..g.:

What do you use for plumping mascara?

Lash Stylist by mabeline. But it clumps. So I work out the clumps with voluminous by Loreal. Those two together give me length and really fat lashes.

Okay thanks. You know I have tried Cover girl lash blast (obnoxious neon ornage fat tube) and it gives thickness as well as some length. Just FYI

thanks for the reviews. I haven't found anything better than my Dior Show mascara yet. Its expensive but works for me. I purchased the stiletto and collossal (they had a buy 1 get one free sale) yet to try them yet.

I love L'oreal mascaras. I recently tried out the Double Extension mascara and it really looked like I was wearing false lashes!

I haven't tried stilletto because its not listed as waterproof. my lashes kiss my brow & if my mascara isn't h2o proof the *shine* from my brow makes my mascara leave black dots on my brow bone.

You will have to pry my DiorShow from my cold dead hands. AND has anyone noticed that it smells like roses?

Gotta love the name stilletto!

I've been having an affair with Fiberwig, but it only seems to be fabulous while the tube is really, really fresh and then I'm left with half a tube of average but expensive mascara. That doesn't make me happy.

So back to Diorshow with me! Has anyone tried the Diorshow Iconic? How does it compare to the regular Diorshow?

I believe it is waterproof, even though the package doesn't explicitly say so (though it does say it will require makeup remover to remove). I cried through the last 20 minutes of the Battlestar Galactica finale and my makeup didn't budge I've also worn it through intensive classes in hot sweaty rooms with no smudging.

I know CVS has good deals at times. I used my 2.50 CVS bucks coupon to save myself more money.

I have it and don't like it. Smells funky (yeah, I can smell it when I'm wearing it, never had that happen with a mascara before) and made my eyes burn horribly.
