That skincare is in pretty much all the SDMs in Ontario, but I've never tried them.

    Re: Yes to Carrots

I am using the YTC deliciously rich body butter. I like it when it goes on and it's quite hydrating. I could do without the fragrance as it's my understanding that it's the only non natural ingredient. (plus I don't like the smell. Not a bad smell, I jut prefer unscented lotions)

The only drawback for me is that it lacks staying power. I used to use Curel and my skin would stay soft all day. Then I was watching an interview with derm and she said that since our skin is the biggest organ we have why would you put all thos chemicals on it and let those absorb through your skin day after day. She even went as far as to theorize that these chemicals may be the cause of some cancer. (She called them "the dirty 30" a list of commonly found chemicals in our everday beauty products) This is what prompted me to try YTC. I just wish it kept my skin soft and moisturized longer. Maybe that's the drawback to using organic stuff.

.p::Okay Ahzia, TMI. sorry. went on a coffee fueled sermon there. But it's worth a try.

Not to go off on an UBER tangent, but to HookedNovice's point, Carol's Daughter is a teriffic all-natural line that puts out some luxuriant, rich-smelling, beautiful body butters, balms and souffles - and they leave your skin soft all day.

You'd never guess it was such a "clean" product line by the way it performs.

Unfortunately, I can't get past the name of Yes to Carrots, so I haven't tried it yet....makes me think of that god-awful Burt's Bees carrot night creme with the funny smell and glue-like consistency ..c::

For nighttime staying power - I've used petroleum jelly for years. You're slippery like a pig in mud, but dang does it work wonders. And it's cheap! Never tried Crisco, although I hear it's really good too.

I have Yes to Carrots hand & elbow cream and their hand exfoliator, both products are amazing. The hand cream really keeps my hands soft all day, and its done wonders for my sometimes dry elbows!

Oh, I was in their factory in Israel when Yes To Carrots just came out. They gave us a tour and showed us how thye make everything.

They make a lot of fantastic all natural products which I have yet to see in the US. I am a big fan. I think they have other Say Yes to (Insert veggie here) products.

I agree--the lip balm is great. Haven't tried any of their other products, though.

    Re: Yes to Carrots

I've only ever tried their lip balms, which are great.

Carol's Daughter is one of my favorite lines. I've been using CD skincare, fragrance and hair care products for years, way before they got into Sephora and on HSN and became well-known. It's great stuff.

The hair mask is great. I also use the eye cream and I like the smell but I'm not actually so sure about the purpose/usefullness of the product. ..l;,

They sell YTC at Pharmaprix (they pretty much have everything) and maybe at Jean-Coutu.
