Thread: Anyone bought from Online Dance Skirts?

I was on the Gilded Serpent, and saw an ad for Online Dance Skirts... has anyone bought anything from them or heard anything about them? Here's their website info: Belly Dance Skirts

My experience is so-so:

I bought one of their regular satin skirts, and the quality of the fabric didn't impress me, it was too stiff for my taste.

I also bought a skirt that was advertises as "silk satin", which was a misrepresentation, as there no silk in that fabric. However, that skirt is lovely, the fabric is soft with beautiful shine and flow.

If I could get more of their "silk satin" skirts, I would order them, but would stay away from their regular satin.

Ooo, I hate when that happens. It's silkus interuptus -- you think you are about to sink your hands into something silk, then...not.

It is actually very important to know what fiber content a satin fabric is made of, whether it is silk, polyester, or (ick) acetate. They all need different iron temperatures and different cleaning methods.
