Thread: Here's a weird idea for bras

WHat if you paint this coating on to stiffen them up? (my, that does sound rude...)

i'd be curious to know if it would hold up against time, would it wash out, or become flakey or something ^^

Some types of rubber will rot and degrade over time or cause the fabrics to rot I think

I've covered a plaster torso of myself with a liquid latex in enough layers that I was able to cut it apart and sew a working zipper in it like a fabric (art school)...

I just use Aleene's Fabric Stiffener.
Of course, one time, I got my bottles mixed up and used the glue I used to glue mirrors onto medallions. It was VERY stiff, and worked great, but I couldn't sew through it!
