Wigs
Who wears them? Favorite brands? I have a cute Cleopatra wig I bought for $10 about 10 years ago -it is a surprisingly nice wig for $10!- and am looking for another option, longer, brunette, full head, synthetic, not too expensive but not cheapo either. There is a wig dealer here who I saw yesterday; theirs are around $100 and up. If I have to spend that much for a proper, good quality wig, I will but I'm rather inexperienced in this area. Please! Bombard me with your knowledge!

Re: Wigs
Hi, my name is Suzy, and I wear wigs....
for performance, that is. I get mine at a local store here for about 35 bucks...the last one I bought and wore for a performance was AWSOME. People I knew kept asking me when I got extensions. It's brown at the roots and dark blonde on the ends. The hairpece has a scalp part, is at the shoulder length and is very comfortable. If you want a pic I'll take one!

Re: Wigs
Hello!
$100 seems to be priced at the higher-end, IMO.
Somewhat more expensive brands include Noriko, Rene of Paris, Raquel Welch, Jon Renau -- long wigs are ~$70 and up. Mid-priced brands include Forever Young, Beverly Johnson -- long wigs are ~$30-60.
I recommend a mid-priced wig (not necessary limited to the aforementioned brands) as they are very good quality and serve the purpose. For ~$50, you can get a very nice wig.
If you are willing to buy online, prices are generally cheaper than in a store. If something doesn't work out, you can always sell it on Bhuz! :-)
Check out International Wig -- I haven't bought from them, but recall it being recommended by some Bhuzzers.
International Wig®- the largest online wig site today - featuring over 50,000 items at the guaranteed lowest cost!

Re: Wigs
I bought a high-end brunette job a few years back from a wig store at a local mall. It was $185ish, I think. Full head, synthetic, long-ish -- the kind you wear and people don't realize it's a wig.
I posted a picture in my gallery if you want to see it. If you're interested, I suppose I could sell it.

Re: Wigs
Forgot to add:
I also have gotten a few cheapies on Ebay - $30-40. ONe was the million-braided Cleopatra type, obviously fake, but it's fun and needs no maintenance. The other was a super long hair one, I used it for a few halloween costumes, but it turned out to be impossible to maintain - comb, brush, got really snarled up, etc. I think of it as "disposable".

Re: Wigs
I checked out the rest of the site - it's the first time I have ever seen a vagina panty.
You might want to open this when you are not at work. https://catalogue.the-woman-in-me.co...-VAGINA_PANTY/
I have a 3/4 long length wig and someone actually thought that it was my real hair. I bought it for $50 CAD at a store in my city.Last edited by etoile; 04-05-2009 at 06:44 PM.

Re: Wigs
I've lost count of how many wigs I have - I think it's more than 23! I collect wigs (all colors, all styles, all textures) like other people collect jewelry and costumes! My very favorite wigs come from a vendor on eBay called "Darcinut," and his store is called WILDCAT WIGS. His name is Bob Hains and he's in Pennsylvania. Awesome selection and very reasonable prices. I have NEVER been disapointed in anything I've gotten from him.
