Spanx me
so does anyone want to share how the hell do you keep your pants up when you wear these spanx things?
i have the kind that is a tank attached to bike shorts, all one garment, love the way it not only holds back the boobs and lifts but camoflauges all the loose areas
but it provides a rather slick 'surface' and my pants seem to slide down. If i wear a belt tight enough to keep the pants up i create muffin tops that are slippery
share?

Hmm... great question.
I am having a c-section in a few weeks and purchased some compression wear from Orchard Corset. It would be nice to know since I do have pants that don't have an elastic waist.
Lol, if it was a costume, I would pin it on the body stocking. But, I don't think this would work well with clothing.

Re: Spanx me
I love a new step-in from Assets. It has this deep ribbed extra support section around the belt line area that holds pants up. I got it at Target. Assets are made by same company as Spanx. What I also like about it is that it is so comfortable and actually reminds me to hold the abs in. And it comes up pretty high in the back and under the arms so it banishes the underarm boobage and back boobs!

Re: Spanx me
I like to wear the sleeveless SugarPetals powernet body suit under costumes to smooth out rolls on my back and tummy. But costumes slide around on it. So I came up with this idea where I sew hooks into the indside of the hip area of the costume and hook to the powernet (like you would hook a tummy cover to your bra.) It means that the costume skirt doesn't slide down and it is attached to your hips so the fabric moves with your movements instead of your hips sliding under the fabric.

Re: Spanx me
do the hooks damage the bodysuit?
damn i wish they made spanx to go under bathing suits but then again on top of a surfboard i might squirt off the board like a greased banana. you'd have to wax me.
oh well, learning to love curves just not used to it yet :)

Re: Spanx me
Hooks don't damage it. I learned when hooking the regular body stocking to costume bra that you don't have to put eyes on the body stocking, just run the hook through the powernet.
I have a wonderful bathing suit that has a lining of TWO layers of heavy powernet. Sucks everything in!

I love the Figleaves bathsuits! Wow, wow, wow... I usually get from Newport News, but they ran out of the one I wanted...
Hopefully, Figleaves won't run out! I need a new one, I doubt I will fit into last years bathing suit having a baby and all. But, hey you never know! I still need a new one.

Re: Spanx me
Thats the kind you hook to your bra. I usually wear the kind that is like a sleeveless leotard cause it holds in the back fat.
