Thread: question about elastic

how do you bhuzzers let out a bit of the elastic that seems to be sewn into the waist or part of the waistband? make sense? i just got my bollywood skirt and i wanna loosen it a bit but don't know how to do that since the waist itself is stretchy and i don't think its just an elastic band within the fabric.

i can attach a pic later tonight of what i'm talking about for those of u that might know what i'm saying, please help :) thanks!

ETA: and the skirt has a zipper on the side. no idea if that should affect anything, just thought i should add that tidbit just in case

I think what you're describing is that you have a stretchy waistband and there is a line sewn horozontally down the middle of the waistband? If so, what you need to do is remove that line (takes awhile), then open the casing and adjust the elastic. Most of the time the quality of the elastic is such that it's just easier to remove the whole thing and thread in a new piece.
