Just wanted to express sincere appreciation to hosts of the photo shoots!

I'm used to showing up and doing my thing, enjoying the hospitality, the cameraderie, the fluffing, and never understood what it was like to actually host one of these things.

Until this past weekend. I hosted Samira Hafezi for the first Shimmy Shoot, which took place in Montréal (next one scheduled for June 13 & 14 in Kingston, ON).

It was exhausting, exhilarating, and completely fun.

To transform one's home or studio space into a temple of beautification (inner and outer) is hard work, as is making sure everyone is comfortable, fed, and happy with their photos.

So...hats off to hosts past, present, and future and here's to more good times behind and in front of the camera!
