Thread: sunset beach photos/make-up?

I will be going to the beach next week. My husband has suggested taking some photos of me in costume on the beach at sunset. Any suggestions for make-up specifically eye make-up. I am pretty good at doing stage make-up (or so I've been told) using eye kandy etc. I am afraid that much sparkly will be too much for use in non-stage lighting. What do you think?

Please do not use glitter/sparkles in outdoor settings. It does not come across as glitter because it requires light + movement for brilliance. On a still image it will translate as white spots or flecks of schmutz, especially outdoors.

Even in indoor settings, glitter has its caveats - I used a Lush Glitterbug for a recent gig and, in the photos, I look like I was attacked by a disco ball. In other photos from that show, I just look like I'm sweating glitter.

Teriffic product, just watch the sparkly stuff in the presence of cameras!
