    Quest for the ideal underwear

    Hi ladies,

I'd like to pick your brains as to what are your favorite "hipster" undies.

Reason I'm asking i sthat I have these awesome pants for the office, they are stretchy, pull-ons with no pockets or zip for a smooth front. They also magically hide the bulges. The only problem is that when I bend forward, the back of the pants rides down. No plumber's cleavage, but enough to reveal my boy-shorts undies.

I need a brand/model of undies that is low enough on the hip and at the back while still managing to stay put without giving me the dreaded muffin top. (And I figure that these would also do nicely under opaque harems...)

Attractive designs are a plus. Can't be too picky. *g*

    TIA,

    Kem

The best underwear EVER. I have given up thongs, these never show panty lines. They have a boyshort version too, but I like these better. Sometimes I see them on sale at Bluefly:

Thanks for the rec. Wow, those are some sheer pantaloons!!! (I'm used to the Wal-Mart opaque boy-shorts. I think I may be having issues leaving my comfort zone... Or maybe I've just never experienced 16$/undies before *g*)

I recently bought a few pairs of VS Cotton hipsters...they're basic, $9.50 per pair, cotton with stretch lace on the top...soooooo comfortable, you feel like you're not wearing anything, and no one can tell through you're pants what you're wearing! I think they may be the perfect casual yet sexy yet comfy panties (btw...their "Perfect One" bra...they are not joking! it is perfect!)

Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this link!!!!! I seriously sent a message to Maidenform yesterday because I'm so sad I can't find these anymore Maidenform Hip Fit Cotton Hipster Panty 40786 at BareNecessities.com and while the VS ones look a little lower, I'm thrilled that they have stretchy lace at the top (no muffin top!) and are COTTON. Yay!

Re: Quest for the ideal underwear

I needed dance undies for my last performance and was pressed for time. So I cut a pair of tights into boy shorts and rolled down the waistband to where I wanted it. Gave me a good base to pin my harem pants to. Not sure if it would work for your office clothes, though, it might not be that comfortable to wear and sit down in all day long. But it worked great as dance underwear.

I know, they are sheer, I think they make a more opaque version I want to try out too. I thought the sheer looked less risque on me than then a thong though ..l;, Price-wise, I usually look for them on blue fly and they are about $9 a pair I think. Seriously though, even with tight jazz pants, they don't show.
