Losing weight is great...adjusting costumes is not!
Can I get a hell yeah? ..l;, I'm tickled pink that I've lost almost 7 pounds (goal is to lose about 15), but it totally sucks that I keep having to readjust the hooks on my costumes. ..c::

Yeah, adjusting hooks is a pain, but the real pain comes when you lose 2 cup sizes and have to sell everything!

Congrats on the weight loss
Costume alterations are dreadful, especially if you have more than one! Bring on the mutterings of insanity.
Just finished altering a costume for a friend. Put three hooks on the bra back & the belt at half inch increments. She said, "I don't care if they show, I'm not dealing with it every time I turn around." All righty then, tell me how you really feel.

Hell yeah, I even took a belt apart, it was a one piece and I turned it into a 2 piece, it became off center. It's alot of work to adjust all the costumes.

I will right with you!
I am pregnant right now, and before I became pregnant. I gained a significant amount of weight from working third shift. Won't be doing that again, it totally mess up my circadian rhythm. :(
Plus, I ended up with Gestational Diabetes this pregnancy and I had to change my diet. Dramatically! I need to stick with it after the baby, because if I don't I could end up with the real thing.
I know that I will drop sizes with this diet, since I am an active person. Can't wait actually, but I will have to take many costumes in.
Congrats on your weight loss. Celebrate with a new costume!!! Hee hee, that is what I plan on doing. :)

Word. I have "fat" costumes and "skinny" costumes because fluctuate 5 pounds either way frequently and I can't keep adjusting costumes.

Yep I'm with you. I've been loosing weight steadily for 2 and a half years now (medical problem). I've bought and sold on so many costumes hardly worn ..cr.:..cr.:..cr.:
It was getting really silly. Then I started to get Hanan bras and belts sets and make my own skirts which although its a pain to keep moving hooks at least its do able.
Im looking forward to buying a whole new costume wardrobe when my weight finally settles down...g.:

Re: Losing weight is great...adjusting costumes is not!
Most of my costumes have a couple of sets of hooks because of weight fluctuations. There are some which I put away because I had gained 30 lbs. I am now down a little over 15. My goal is another 20, although I will take 10 by Aws!
At one pint I thought about selling all my bedlahs and only wearing dresses, because I did not like how I looked in bedlah, but then I thought, WHAT? And have to rebuy them when I am thin and want to show off my abs again? Nah. . .
