totally a luxury item i wont be able to afford often but dang isnt that fun? instant gratification and the stuff isnt all sticky like the store bought kind..

I like professional spray ons as well but haven't had one for quite some time - they arent' that expensive it is just a hassle making a booking and driving in etc etc.

It always amuses me that after you are sprayed and leave the store you can see your skin going darker and darker and darker and then the next morning it looks like coffee is running off your skin in the shower.

And yes...it definitely disguises cellulite

How long do they last? Can you get a slight one? I don't want to be tan, but I caught a glimpse of my legs in the sunlight the other day ... pale is fine, translucent? Not the look I'm going for!

I have heard that Jantana is really good. You get it online & it's what the professional body builders use... One of our troupe members uses it and her tan looks very natural...no orange.

the spa told me it would last a week so it's more an instant gratification thing. i would do it before performing or something like that. this one was for fun to test it out and see how it all worked..the spa is ten minutes from my house. i like the sugar cane scent :)

no foundation needed either (for face) ..that's a plus in fact no makeup really needed

I thought I signed up for one once but when I got there, it was actually something applying self-tanner to me. Regardless, it looked amazing and she did a much better job than I would.

Still, quite a shock imagining stepping into a tanning shower alone..and ending up completely naked being rubbed down by a spa technician!

I've never had a pro tan done, but I've done false tans at hoe. The best results I've had were with St Tropez but I havent' tried that many. I also use that Johnson's Holiday Skin stuff sometimes for a bit of a glow.

One of my clients arrived the other day with a fake dan she'd done herself and it was perfect, and a gorgeous tone. She said it was by Lancome and that they have a good selection.

A lot of my photo clients come with spray-ons, but some of them are really patchy so get a recommendation from someone re. the salon you go to.

Make sure you exfoliate before going to the salon, it's such a key factor.

Indeedy - at a salon or for a DIY one

In fact if you want a good natural tan exfoliation is key to that too.
