Saw this mentioned on another thread. Can someone give me the details?

I love it. We just recently had an Indian woman set up a threading booth in the mall and I visit her regularly now.

The lady uses a long piece of thread that slides up and down its self to pull out unwanted hairs on your face and brows. I like this method more than waxing or tweezing, personally.

I get my eyebrows threaded once a month at this tiny little place by my office. It's an indian technique for removing hair from the face. They use regular sewing thread and twist it a bunch of times against itself for tension. Then they run the thread over the area for hair removal. Not gonna lie, it hurts like a bi-atch but I'm way to lazy to tweeze and they always groom and sculpt my eyebrows so nicely, totally work the 5 dollar cost!

It's amazing to watch. I sat for 45 mins. and watched as I waited for my daughters to get their brows done. There was a massive crowd watching and waiting around the mall kiosk. (King of Prussia) The woman made several hundreds of dollars just as I sat there. Amazing. Made me really rethink my career choices.

That video from Zana in the other threading thread is amazing. Who knew you could be that accurate with a piece of sewing thread???

i know how to do threading, my aunt in iran taught me when i was 11 lol, unfortunately i never got the hang of doing it to my own face (you have to tie one end of the string to your toe instead of holding it between your teeth) , so the only benefactor is my mom.

btw be careful to get someone who really knows what theyre doing to do it, otherwise your skin can get caught along with the hair, causing little cuts.
