    Goth Makeup

    Hey . . .

My troupe has an upcoming photo shoot where our theme is like . . . gothic, creepy-sexy, tribal. So . . . . . I've got the costume together, but now I need to learn some makeup tricks. I have really small, close set eyes. Fair to medium skin and blonde hair.

So . . . . if anyone can give me some pics, photos, or tips . . . it would be awesome!!!

Trick is to draw on new eyes. Take the shape out *wide*.

I used to do this pretty much every day when I was young.

Nice!!! I have crinoline hair falls too! Mine are metallic fushia and I mixed some platinum blonde dredz in with 'em! Crinoline is AWESOME! Our whole troupe has crinoline falls. Nice makeup too. I will definitely use this for inspiration. Thanks!

Sabrinabellydancer . . . . what types of products do you recommend to get that look. Liquid liner? Pencil? Khol? Shadow? Cream eyeliner?

that's mac shadows with maybelline waterproof liquid liner, matted down with more black shadow. the ultimate no-budge for stage. i find liquid give the most precision, good for the uber-extended eye lines.

but if its just a static photo shoot you can probably do the wax based products such as pencil or cream. just take into consideration if you will be under hot lights for an extended time period, they can melt the makeup right off your face!

to increase color intensity of your shadows, use a cream concealer on your lid, then pat, not rub or brush, in the base shadow color and build from there.
please post pics of your shoot :)

I've also done long lasting, performance proof Siouxsie style makeup with MAC's Fluidline in Blacktrack. That stuff does not budge. (budgie? ha, I pun)
