Thread: Help! Whats wrong with my breasts?

Okay, maybe not my breasts' fault...but what is going on here? Is the cup too big? Can this problem be fixed by moving the straps more towards the center? I just got this beauty from Morgana and her bazaar (very friendly service btw), I LOVE it...but before I start altering it, I wanted to consult all you experts. Please tell me I can fix this?

how about some padding from the bottom to the sides?

I would add a clear strap to the center of the cups to hold them closer together, and add more padding.

Moving the straps will definitely help, but I would also pad.
Don't move the straps too close to the center or the cups will just be flat on your chest.

PAD! Cutlets from the sides and bottoms and straps would help.

Yep, pad those cups.

I'd add padding to the outsides and underneath part of the cups. Then maybe, try pinching the middle strap a little shorter.

think wonderbra padding--i have smaller breasts that are less full on top and are spaced farther apart, like yours. I always have to pad my cups so that my natural breast tissue is pushed up and fills out on top. Just buy regular full push up pads from the fabric store and place them so they push you up and toward the center.

Pad the cups and move the bra straps closer together. I'd experiment by just pinning the straps a little closer until you get the right fit before you sew it back together.

Assuming it's an Eman, I had a very similar problem with a fuchsia-and-orange Eman, that I was able to fix - but not without some serious surgery.

I'm so flat-chested, it takes more than just padding to prevent bra fit issues. Sometimes, padding too much makes the cup stand too far away, which only worsens the problem!

First, I took the whole darned thing apart. Added padding, brought the neck straps closer in, and shortened the neck straps.

There were still issues.

So I put short little straps in that go diagonally from the center of the cup to the middle of the neck strap, to evenly spread out the cups.

Almost there!

Then, I ripped out the lining and stuck some florist's wire in along the bra top edges, like Bella does to her bras.

Perfection! I even got the look of some cleavage. Hopefully you don't have to take these drastic measures to get a good fit - but all of the above, I think, are viable suggestions. Good luck!

Thanks so much everyone! I will try padding, and if that does not solve the problem I will try moving the straps just a little bit closer and possibly add a clear strap between the cups. I just have never run into this problem. As a C cup, I never thought to pad. But nursing has...um...changed the shape of my breasts! LOL! Thanks again!

...Beautiful costume. One more quick note- in a bra like this, you can make your padding like a shelf for your girls to rest on. No padding at the top of the cup and ALL of it at the bottom and outside edges.

I wish I had your problem... then I could fit into that style of bra. Who cares if I have to pad!

you are so right.by bringing the straps in..to the middle, you put more cup under your arm, i build all my own costumes.sometimes i get a cup i have to "choke" in the halter.
