Thread: making own outfits?

i just recently started bellydance, and wanted to try to make my own skirts, hip scarves, tops, etc. I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a place/website for templates or patterns? or any ideas?? materials?

Simplicity Patterns has some as well... Simplicity Patterns for Sewing Projects, usually you can find them in the costume section and check the Out of Print section... I made the top in my avatar from pattern number 4484, which is out of print now. It was really easy.

I usually buy fabric from Joann's... But, I made a thread asking about fabric and here are some online suggestions.
