Thread: warning sign for spandexhouse.com?

i've been trying to go on their website both yesterday and today but i keep getting a warning sign from firefox that says:

Reported Attack Site!

This web site at spandexhouse.com has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Attack sites try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.

Some attack sites intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners.


has anyone else been getting this? i was supposed to order some fabric from them but considering that there might be issues w/their site, i don't wanna give out my number to them at the chance that their email is hacked into. i wouldn't know if the person that calls me is really one of their employees, and thus don't wanna give my credit card info (i hate how they make u order like that, by the way. they have to call u and then get ur info over the phone). i've ordered from them before and have gotten swatches from them numerous times. anyone know what's going on?

Try Spandexworld.com. They have very similar stock and you can order from their web site. I have used Spandexhouse before without issue, but it's been a few months.

thanks i knew bout spandexworld before but was just wondering what happened to the other one. it's still givin me the warning sign..hmm
and not sure if 'world' has the fabric i wanted. blahh

Huh, I looked at spandexhouse's web site earlier today and didn't get any error message. I'd suggest calling them directly. (212-354-6711)

I have ordered with Spandex House several times some time ago and have always had good service from them.

nope- nevermind- I'm getting it too- looks like the owner has to contact Google to get the warning removed bc a 3rd party site tried to use it to send malware? if you have the email for spandexhouse somewhere you might want to let them know there is a problem.
