    Eww!!

My cat peed in my to-do box (you know, the half assed DIY costume projects)..............and yet I feel relieved. Any experiences like this?

Maybe you could ask a Vet clinic, I sure they have very reliable product that can help.

    Give us feedback. Good luck!

my cat once peed in my husband's cardboard box of important papers. that was hilarious, mainly because i'd been bugging him to go thru that stuff!

    LOL!

You have no idea how many times I have accidentally ruined something which, deep down inside, I really HATED! A pair of sunglasses which I had had for years and finally replaced had one of the arms severely damaged as I put them in their case. I lost one of a pair of sneakers which I had been wearing as soon as I replaced them with something I liked more (keep in mind that I am currently a grad student and paying tuition for my son who is an undergrad. So I tend to wear everything until it HAS to be replaced.)

I have actually seen this as a pattern in my life. Which has been interesting to say the least. How much do was hold onto because we feel that we must?

now my only dilemma is, do I start fresh, try to work on some new DIY costumes, or do I just admit the obvious (that this was one of those signs from above to STOP)?

Do you really think you could stop? Quit cold turkey? Not buy soft drapey fabric and sparklies?

I think the sense of relief is a sign to STOP.

I go through phases where I get great joy from DIY projects. And times when they just sit, gathering dust and filling me with guilt. I've sold off half-finished projects, yards of fabric and trim, etc. and felt GREAT about it afterward!!

Well, this might be a sign to moderate your obsession. You could simply go by the rule that you don't start a project until the one which you are currently working on is complete. This is what I have decided to do.

Of course, this rule only works until I find a bedlah which I love but the bra needs to be completely reworked in order for it to fit my chest. . .

I'm thinking I'd be better at making simple but nice stuff, similar to those cute Sahars (minus floating bra). I think I could make something like that and actually pull it off!

Well, my son's cat, Kage, peed on Justin's bed when Kage figured out that Justin wasn't coming home. (Justin had left for Uni in Scotland) So, you may have a point!

I am one that has to finish one before I start another. I just don't have the space for all the extra crap that goes along with multipule projects.

I am one of those people who save horried gifts. My grandma (bless her heart) loves to give me knick-knacks that she buys from catalogues. I can't stand the stuff but I hold on to it cause I am suppose to. I have been getting better tho. Now I only keep them for three months and then give them to goodwill. It is a good thing that she NEVER comes over to my house or she might notice that I don't have any of the stuff that she has given me. I don't know anyone who actually likes and enjoys those singing snowmen and what not that Hallmark sells who is under the age of 60.

I had a cockatiel years ago who pulled something like that. I was pinning a circle skirt for hemming....just working away obliviious to the bird on the floor...la..la..la...turned around to find that the bird had followed me along the edge of the skirt...plucking out each pin and dropping it on the carpet.

    As soon as I turned around........he RAN...l;,

My cat does like to pee on my dance bag when he feels that I have not been home often enough.
