Thread: Halloween 2009?

OMG! I found my Halloween costume for 2009. I was at my local Goodwill store this afternoon and I found "Glinda, the Good Witch". All I need is a tiara and a wand and I'm good to go. It was only $40 for this wonderful, craptacular thing! I couldn't leave the store without it. I need to shorten it and alter the bodice a little (can't zip it up).

I rarely find anything at Goodwill either. When I walked in the door, this thing was hanging on the dress rack taking up half the aisle with all it's layers of tulle. My eyes drew a bead on it immediately and I went to investigate. Most of the sequins on it are star shaped. What a find. I'm already on Ebay looking for the crown/wand. Found the wand....

That is great! Glenda is awesome! I personally love Wicked and the Wizard of Oz and all of that.

I have no idea what I will be for Halloween, yet... Thinking thinking thinking...

That's aswome! Make yourself a pair of organza puffy sleeves to go with it, stick-on glitters stars and a big brooch with rhinestones...

Ha, ha, I looked at the photo and immediately pictured myself cutting off the outside sheer sparkly layer of the skirt and turning it into an overskirt for a . . . bellydance costume (what else?)

I just spent $150 on dresses at goodwill. I stock up for theatrical stuff since we always do a big party scene and all the girls have slinky prom dresses when we need poofy dresses (like that pink one).

I have one dress that I adore but can't quite fit into. I need to lose 4-5 inches across my back. How do you lose back fat? :-)
